• School Crossing Guards: Volunteering as a crossing guard is a great way to work toward your volunteer requirements, and it is a simple way to keep our kids, families and staff safe. • Dads’ Club: The NSM Dads’ Club is a great way to get involved in your kids’ school, rack up volunteer hours, and be a role model while getting to hang out with a fun group of guys. This group put the “ice cream” in Ice Cream Social, and it runs events like movie nights and year-end BBQ. The club’s August meeting will take place on Thursday, August 31 at 6:30pm at the Parkside Round Table Pizza (1852 S Norfolk St., by Smart & Final).
