Direct Donation Campaign
Direct donations help sponsor many programs and activities for our students, parents, and staff. Please consider donating whatever amount your family is comfortable giving, small or large. This year, the PTA is budgeted to spend $600 per child, and all donations (minimum $10) include one complimentary PTA membership.
- The PTA's suggested donation is $600 per child. However, donations of ANY amount are encouraged and welcome.
- We're hoping to receive 100% participation from our school community.
All donations are greatly appreciated--success relies on all of us!
Corporate match - Double your contribution! Even if you do stock option donation, your company may match it.
Want to double your contribution? Many local companies offer corporate match. Ask your employer’s HR department if they participate. (NSM PTA EIN# 94-6184914)
STOCK OPTION DONATION
If you donate appreciated securities to North Shoreview Montessori PTA (EIN: 94-6184914), there are two benefits. First, you avoid paying capital gains taxes on the amount of the appreciation. Second, you can still deduct the full amount of the current value of the stock as a charitable income tax donation. Please consult your tax professional for advice.
When you donate stock you will get a tax receipt via email, and the funds are directed to be sent by check to NSM. Please check StockDonator website for transaction fee information.
