Greens & Grounds: Earth Week Edition

What better way to round out Earth Week than spending time with the NSM community cleaning up and beautifying our campus! Join us on this Saturday, 4/27 from 9am-1pm for our final Greens & Grounds of the school year. Show your school pride and your Montessori spirit of caring for the Earth by rolling up your sleeves to help clean, prune and maintain our school grounds.

¡Qué mejor manera de completar la Semana de la Tierra que pasar tiempo con la comunidad de NSM limpiando y embelleciendo nuestro campus! Únase a nosotros este sábado 27 de abril de 9 am a 1 pm para nuestros últimos Green & Grounds del año escolar. Muestre su orgullo escolar y su espíritu Montessori de cuidar la Tierra arremangándose para ayudar a limpiar, podar y mantener los terrenos de nuestra escuela.

Volunteer Spotlight

Shout-out to everyone who volunteers for NSM in any capacity - room parents, crossing guards, Count Me In hosts, poster makers, and more. We see you and thank you! Please remember to log those hours online on Membership Toolkit. This year, we’ve set a big goal of logging 6,000 volunteer hours across our K-8 program. Currently we have recorded 1,550 total hours. A special shout-out to Alexandra Schwartz for logging over 100 hours! Remember to keep logging, even after you’ve met the 30 hour minimum. Questions? Volunteering is a great way to learn more about our school and build connections. We ask our families to volunteer for 30 hours per year. Let us know how you might like to volunteer, and log your volunteer hours here!

Un saludo a todos los que se ofrecen como voluntarios para NSM en cualquier función: padres de salón, guardias de cruce, anfitriones de Count Me In, creadores de carteles y más. ¡Nos vemos y gracias! Recuerde registrar esas horas en línea en Membership Toolkit. Este año, nos hemos fijado el gran objetivo de registrar 6000 horas de voluntariado en nuestro programa K-8. Actualmente hemos registrado 1.550 horas totales. ¡Un agradecimiento especial a Alexandra Schwartz por registrar más de 100 horas!
